一、About SABEU  -Plastics and Membrane Technology

SABEU is offering expertise in injection molding and mold making since 1958 as well as over 30 years in the processing and manufacturing of membranes for Life Sciences, Medical, Packaging and further Industries.

Our many years of experience, certifications according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 13485, the possibility to manufacture clean rooms and the flexibility of a medium-sized company make us an ideal partner. The main difference of SABEU compared with other suppliers is that we are able to offer membranes and injection molding from a single source, including development, mold making and assembly.

We have been custom developing and manufacturing filter membranes and plastic components for more than six decades. With our cellQART Cell Culture Inserts, FLUXX Packaging Solutions and microporous TRAKETCH Filter Membranes we set our own standards – all made in Germany

二、TRAKETCH-The TRACK-ETCHED MEMBRANE made by SABEU

In medical technology, laboratory environments or where there is the need for highly sensitive electronic components – track-etched membranes made by SABEU are the innovative solution for venting, pressure compensation, filtration and much more.

The surface of our PFOA-free ion-track membranes are extremely smooth and can also be further refined with hydrophobic and oleophobic surface properties. As a result, requirements such as splash and drip water protection can also be easily realized with our track-etched membranes. In the hydrophilic version our microporous membranes are suitable for example for the filtration of fuels or for cell culture applications.

What else characterizes SABEU's track-etched membranes? Unlike most other membranes, their pore size in micrometer can precisely be defined. The variability of pore diameters is also significantly lower than with other membranes. That’s why our track-etched membranes are suitable for a wide range of applications, for example for detecting pathogens such as legionella, for cultivating human cells in the laboratory, or for protecting sensitive electronic components in e-bikes.

Another important point is that each application designed with the TRAKETCH microporous membrane is completely produced in-house®: from product development and manufacturing to surface finishing, assembly and packaging. We continuously quality control the air flow in-line with our manufacturing process as an indirect measurement of the pore size.
